The Induction Academy warmly integrates new hires into Majid Al Futtaim through an engaging and immersive experience. It introduces new joiners to MAF’s culture, values and business operations, accelerating their path to success. Launched in 2024, the academy features a bespoke, gamified journey powered by One MAF World platform, making onboarding both interactive and impactful across the MAF ecosystem.
In partnership with Harvard, the People Management Academy is designed to strengthen the skills and capabilities of 2,000 middle managers across Majid Al Futtaim. It combines core learning with personalised elective modules, enabling managers to effectively contribute to MAF’s strategic objectives. As a key part of our transformative ‘refounding’ journey, this academy aims to cultivate a strong organisational culture and drive operational excellence.
In collaboration with world-class partners - including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Arist, ESCP Business School, and the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School—the AI Academy offers innovative learning pathways for senior leaders, tech developers and end users. Its mission is to equip MAFers with the skills to use AI responsibly and creatively, driving innovation across the organisation. By combining insights from MAF experts with the strategic expertise of global industry leaders, the AI Academy is dedicated to positioning Majid Al Futtaim as a leading AI education hub in the region.im as a leading AI education hub in the region.
This programme empowers Emirati leaders to define, articulate, and amplify their unique leadership brand, enhancing their personal and professional influence in alignment with cultural values and organisational goals. It features bespoke modules from renowned Business Schools such as Stanford, Wharton, Duke, IMD, Yale, and Columbia.
This academy is dedicated to cultivating leadership excellence, building enabling networks and promoting allyship at MAF. The Women In Leadership Programme focuses on forging a powerful network of female leaders who uplift each other and harness their unique strengths to elevate leadership excellence across MAF. The Male Allyship Programme helps male leaders enhance leadership effectiveness and decision-making by developing an understanding of different viewpoints and hidden biases, to engender proactive allyship and a collaborative and inclusive environment at MAF.

uLearn, our annual Learning Month, offers insights into future-focused skills and industry trends through workshops led by experts, thought leaders, and innovators. It fosters a culture of learning, enhancing skills, expanding knowledge, and supporting development at every career stage.
We foster a culture of growth by building strong learning communities internally and externally. Internally, the Learning & Leadership Centre of Excellence unites diverse initiatives through frameworks and strategic touchpoints, ensuring consistency and impactful experiences across the organisation. In collaborating with L&D representatives in each business, we cultivate a vibrant Learning Community that drives innovation and shared success.
Externally, we engage with a global network of experts to amplify our impact. Partnerships with organisations like the World Economic Forum’s Chief Learning Officers community keep us ahead of industry trends while supporting initiatives such as the Reskilling Revolution, aiming to provide education and skills to 1 billion people by 2030. Hosting conferences, roundtables, and workshops with renowned advisors enables us to drive knowledge exchange and collaborative growth.
