The Company's First Career Day in Egypt offers over 4000 job opportunities from over 40 leading companies.
Cairo, Egypt: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, hosted today an employment fair dubbed “Mall of Egypt Career Day” at the Nile Ritz Carlton hotel. In preparation for the grand opening in September 2016, Mall of Egypt organized the one-day employment fair for its tenants to recruit the needed personnel to run their shops at the mall. During the day, Majid Al Futtaim also recruited the required personnel for its different businesses/brands in Mall of Egypt including, Carrefour, Ski Egypt, VOX Cinemas and Magic Planet. The Career Day was inaugurated by Dr. Ghada Wali, Minister of Social Solidarity, Abdalla El Nockrashy, Egypt Country Head - Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Mouien Al Madhoun, Chief Human Capital Officer, Majid Al Futtaim Holding, Anis Aclimandos, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, as well as representatives from the participating 40 leading retail companies.

Mall of Egypt Career Day offered over 4000 job opportunities across a variety of specialties and different seniority levels, with a number of jobs reserved for youth with special needs. As a leading investor in Egypt, Majid Al Futtaim has made significant investments in bringing unrivalled experiences to the country’s retail and leisure sectors since 1998. Most recently, the company cemented its commitment to the market through the implementation of an EGP 23 billion investment plan. Through this sizable investment Majid Al Futtaim continues to expand its operations and hire Egyptians in alignment with the government’s growth and development goals.

Majid Al Futtaim has earlier announced that the total direct and indirect post-opening job opportunities created by Mall of Egypt will reach 41,000. This figure underlines the company’s commitment to identify and empower high potential candidates through offering them the opportunity to be a part of Majid Al Futtaim’s growing team.

Located on Wahat Road in 6th of October City, Mall of Egypt will house 350 retail units of the best local and international brands including an unmatched high-end fashion offering of the world’s most prestigious brands. With 455,500 square meters of built-up area, Mall of Egypt’s family leisure offerings will include Ski Egypt – Africa’s first indoor skiing slope, a 21 multi-screen VOX Cinemas, a Magic Planet family entertainment centre as well as 6,500 car parking spaces.
