Mall of Egypt to Open in 2016

Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, hosted a final countdown event for Mall of Egypt’s retailers and store designers at the mall’s construction site in preparation for its September 2016 opening. Mall of Egypt is the company’s flagship project in Egypt, with an investment of EGP 5 billion. Featuring an array of exclusive international brands introduced for the first time in Egypt, Africa’s first indoor skiing slope, a 21-screen VOX Cineplex among others, the mall is set to offer an unrivalled shopping and leisure experiences. The event was attended by various retailers, Kim McInnes, Chief Executive Officer - Shopping Malls, Majid Al Futtaim and other Majid Al Futtaim senior management.
