Live catwalk shows, an elegant style exhibition and exclusive winning opportunities kick off the season’s fashionable events
Dubai, UAE: Majid Al Futtaim’s luxury flagship destination, Mall of the Emirates launches its Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, SHINE, delivering a line-up of exciting activities on and off the catwalk for a great shopping experience for everyone.
On March 9th, Mall of the Emirates wowed a crowd of fashion enthusiasts with INTROPIA’s Spring/Summer 2016 runway presentation. The mall hosted the catwalk show to mark the opening of the fashion retailer’s first standalone store in Dubai. INTROPIA opened its doors on February 14th in the mall’s Central Galleria. Known for its luxurious atheistic that is designed for unique and real women, the show presented the season’s key trends and must-have pieces.
DJ Tala Samman was at hand, mixing the shows music set accompanying the models gracing the runway with her up-tempo cool beats. Front row seats were filled with prominent fashion bloggers and socialites, such as TV presenter Hilda Khalifa, the cities’ fashion press looked on with keen interest, while Ahlan!’s group editor Nadine Al Chaer led the event festivities as master of ceremony.
On March 13th, luxury fashion retailer Etoile La Boutique showcased their elegant fashion display featuring mannequins adorned in the latest SS16 collections. The week-long exclusive exhibition, held in the mall’s Central Galleria, will showcase designs from renowned fashion houses as well as contemporary, up and coming labels.
In addition, representing the season, Mall of the Emirates’ SS16 campaign imagery perfectly showcases the tonal palette of Spring. The SHINE concept represents being the best version of yourself this Spring Summer and was inspired by a fresh and summery atmosphere with a playful attitude to usher in a lighter, brighter new season.

From March 9th to April 9th, Mall of the Emirates will reward lucky patrons upon spending a minimum of AED 650 at any outlets within the mall with an incredible opportunity to shop a new wardrobe with a fashion stylist and have their looks captured in a professional photoshoot inspired by the SHINE concept. Double chances of winning will be given to those who spend in the fashion category of the mall. A total value of AED150,000 will be awarded to shoppers over the Spring Summer 2016 campaign at Mall of the Emirates.
