Majid Al Futtaim Finance wins Service Excellence award at the Business Excellence Awards, hosted by Department of Economic Development

United Arab Emirates: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, announced today that its financial service provider arm, Majid Al Futtaim Finance has won a prestigious recognition for its customer service excellence.

The company received the Business Excellence Award in the Service Excellence category for its Contact Center at the 21st Business Excellence Awards Ceremony, hosted by Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED), last week.

The Majid Al Futtaim Finance 24/7 customer service Contact Center operates best in class service standards and worldwide best practices, supported by strict measures and the latest technology.

In addition to participating in the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme, Majid Al Futtaim Finance also has a Mystery Shopper research programme conducted in partnership with YouGov. As part of the programme, the organisation generates detailed reports identifying priority areas for enhancement. Feedback from both these channels has resulted in major investments across Majid Al Futtaim Finance, specifically in infrastructure. One of the recent initiatives undertaken following feedback from the programme is the creation of soundproof facilities in the Call Centre to ensure privacy for clients.

Since its inception in 2008, Majid Al Futtaim Finance has won a series of awards, including Fastest Launch of a Visa Credit Card Internationally at the 2008 Visa International Awards, Best Marketing Campaign for Prepaid at the 2013 Visa International Awards, and Best Prepaid Service Provider for four consecutive years since 2013 to date.
