Dubai, UAE: Expect a high-octane weekend on March 19 - 21 at City Centre Mirdif as shoppers get the first look at fashion trends. As part of Majid Al Futtaim’s official launch of Spring/Summer fashion campaign, mall visitors will experience a fresh line up of distinct looks by a total of 30 fashion labels in nine catwalk shows, and get a glimpse of the multi-talented Lebanese icon Myriam Fares on stage for a fashion discussion and mini concert.

To highlight emerging talents as well as eco-friendly fashion, school-age designers will showcase original designs made from recyclable materials in a ‘Trashion’ show on March 20. Winning designs will be rewarded with cash prizes worth AED 5000 for first place, AED 2500 for second place, and AED 1000 for third place.

‘Queen of the Stage’ Myriam Fares will close out the weekend celebration through a live discussion about her fashion inspirations as well as a mini-performance of her well-loved songs. The chic celebrity is frequently spotted on designer’s front rows, combining a love of fashion with her performing talent. Fares will sing her latest hits and share her fashion tips with the crowd during an on-stage discussion on March 21 at 6:30 pm.

For a minimum spend of AED 399, a shopper will get a raffle entry to win a luxurious five-star vacation for two in Paris. To double the fun, the first twenty patrons to spend a total of AED 999 will take home a Polaroid camera—perfect for those who love to share their fun activities and radiant selfies in social media.
