Carrefour by Majid Al Futtaim Retail brings in a new concept of daily shopping

Dubai - Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, today announced the launch of Carrefour City – The Neighboring Store: a smaller sized, neighborhood store designed to offer easy access to daily shopping.

Carrefour City brings the best loved aspects of Carrefour to a convenient corner store concept easily accessible to customers around the city.

With up to 4,000 products on the shelves for daily and weekly shopping needs and a broad range of fresh food, ready to eat meals and snacks, Carrefour City offers a quick and easy shopping experience. In an area between 100 to 400 Sq. metres, customers will find a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, bread and dairy products, a large selection of snacks for lunch as well as the Carrefour private label products.

Committed to enhancing customer shopping experience, Carrefour City staff is highly trained to assist and advice customers ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. In store customers will find bill payment services; mobile recharge and nol cards as well as registration and redemption to the same great loyalty Carrefour MyCLUB rewards, available in all Carrefour stores in the UAE.

The first Carrefour City will open in November 2014 in collaboration with RTA Metro, with a plan to expand nationwide.
