Majid Al Futtaim Opens VOX Cinemas Multiplex in The Roof

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, March 17, 2019, Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas, the dedicated cinema arm of Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia today launched its third VOX Cinemas in Riyadh at The Roof in Riyadh’s Alyasmin District.

VOX Cinemas in The Roof combines world-class entertainment with a wide range of creative food and beverage options including the specialty Nutella bar, Pizza Al Taglio – a brand-new concept serving freshly baked pizza slices and Kitchen 35 – a grab and go café serving coffees, juices, sandwiches, salads and pastries. This is in addition to the signature VOX Cinemas Candy Bar where guests can get their favourite cinema snacks. The innovative F&B offerings provide cinema goers with an exceptional experience that extends beyond movie.  

The multiplex features eight screens including the family-friendly concept, KIDS which is designed especially for young movie fans, and has a total seating capacity of 553.

VOX Cinemas intend to open 110 screens by end of 2019, and with this new milestone, the company currently operates a total 39 screens in the Kingdom, across Riyadh and Jeddah.
