Majid Al Futtaims Malls in Dubai Announces Season of Spectacular Prizes and Family Entertainment Dur

Dubai, UAE: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, announced an early start of its Dubai Summer Surprises celebrations, in partnership with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE). From July 7 until August 20, 2016 across Mall of the Emirates and City Centres Deira, Mirdif, Me’aisem and Al Shindagha, visitors will enjoy spectacular family entertainment and have the opportunity to win amazing prizes this summer.

During DSS and throughout the summer, Majid Al Futtaim’s malls in Dubai are delivering a curated schedule of fashion, entertainment and shopping experiences to suit every taste; for families and teenagers, fashion lovers and foodies, residents and visitors, there is something new, fun, engaging and rewarding to experience. Whether it is catching the latest blockbuster at the largest screen in the region at the recently opened VOX, City Centre Deira; shopping the latest mens and womenswear collection at the stunning two-floor Dolce and Gabbana boutique at Mall of the Emirates; gathering with friends and family over a meal at any of the mall’s multiple dining options; or treating the little ones to thrilling experiences at Ski Dubai, Magic Planet, Little Explorers, iFly or Vox, the malls are the destination to spend the summer months.

For the first time in the Middle East, Majid Al Futtaim and DFRE are bringing the world-famous Alvin and the Chipmunks characters to life. Starting on July 19 – 25 at City Centre Mirdif, then at Mall of the Emirates on July 27 – August 2, and City Centre Deira on August 4 – 10, the three shopping malls will run a series of activities from live stage shows, Meet & Greet opportunities and workshops with the loved characters.

At City Centre Mirdif, from July 31 – August 4, Al Oula 107.4 radio will transmit its cultural show ‘Hayak fi Biladi” live from City Centre Mirdif. The show will run a daily competition asking listeners and mall visitors to find an Emirati cultural item in one of the retail stores.
