Explore Build Win at City Centre Bahrain this summer

The mall introduces ‘A LEGO® City Event’ for the first time in Bahrain, with Shop & Win competitions and exciting prizes

Manama, Bahrain: City Centre Bahrain, the largest shopping, leisure and entertainment destination in Bahrain, announces a family entertainment-packed summer program of interactive amusements - featuring a fantastic LEGO® City Building Event. The mall is also celebrating ‘City Centre’ brand’s 20th anniversary with fun activities to keep residents and tourists entertained throughout the summer holidays.

Visitors to City Centre Bahrain will be able to enjoy playing with the ever popular LEGO® bricks a first for Bahrain, in a ‘LEGO® City Event’. The Central Galleria will be transformed to offer a larger than life LEGO® City experience, including a building activity area to encourage kids to unleash their creativity, along with engaging activities at the LEGO City fire station, police station, park, and the charity station.

With schools on break, families can make the most of their free time by shopping at City Centre Bahrain, to become amongst the lucky winners this summer. For every spend of BD40, shoppers will be entered into a draw for a chance to win 1 of 4 BD2,000 in Gift Cards every week. In addition, shoppers who spend BD50 or more will instantly get to choose one of the mystery LEGO® toy packs – with lots to be collected.

“As part of Majid Al Futtaim’s vision to create great moments for everyone, everyday, City Centre Bahrain is rolling out an action and fun-packed summer for all families in the Kingdom. We are proud to present a first in Bahrain, the LEGO® City Event , which illustrates our continuous initiatives to innovate and enhance our visitors’ experience,” said Duaij Khalifa Al Rumaihi, Senior Mall Manager for City Centre Bahrain.

Children will be able to immerse themselves into a LEGO City®. A DUPLO® area will be available for kids under five years old, and LEGO® City bricks for older kids. Building instructions will also be made available for LEGO fans to help them build awesome models such as a City police car, truck, or helicopter. Children who successfully build a LEGO City model will be rewarded with a ‘Junior Master Builder’ diploma as a memento of the day.

Kids between the age of 6 to 12 years will have an opportunity to enter the ‘Unbox their imagination’ competition,  by constructing an inventive LEGO® model for submission to win prizes ,  These will also be displayed in the  gallery within the LEGO City Event, for all to see and admire.

Last but not the least, on August 20, City Centre Bahrain will be marking the double-decade anniversary of the ‘City Centre’ brand, throughout the shopping center. Kids will have to keep a lookout for the charismatic roaming LEGO® mascot, whom will be creating great moments & rewarding families with gifts to take home to mark the 20th anniversary. Visitors can also take a photo at the LEGO® City Event and share it on Instagram for a chance to win BD50 in gift cards.
