PLAYNATION INVITES YOUTH TO COMPETE ON MAY 12TH 2012 AND BECOME A “PLAYNATION LEGEND”

‘Hall of Game’ competition encourages all to test their skills and win ipad2


Dubai, UAE –9th May 2012: Playnation, the region’s premiere entertainment destination will be hosting the inaugural “Become a Legend” tournament at Mirdif City Centre on May 12th 2012. Giving participants from across the UAE the opportunity to discover their inner champion in a series of unique and exhilarating challenges, the tournament is the first of its kind and expected to attract large number of participants with a passion for healthy competition, sports and all round fun.

With challenges that have been devised to encourage the spirit of sportsmanship and skill development, the event is the culmination of the Become a Legend campaign where participants will compete across five interactive venues at Playnation i.e. iFLY Dubai, Little Explorers, Soccer Circus Dubai, Yalla! Bowling, and Sky trail and the top scorer will be crowned as a “Playnation Legend”. All challenges are linked to the attractions at Playnation and will reward the top score within the Training Academy at Soccer Circus, maneuvering ability at iFLY Dubai, the fastest time to complete Sky Trail, top score at Yalla! Bowling and a treasure hunt at Little Explorers.

The winner of each challenge will receive a trophy and an ipad 2, while runners up will receive certificates of recognition and medals. The opening ceremony of the competition will take place at 8:30 am, with the competition starting at 10:30 am and the prize giving at 14:30 pm. The age limits and competing categories are as follows:

• 2-7 years: Little Explorers only
• Under 11 years: Yalla! Bowling, Soccer Circus Dubai, iFLY Dubai, Sky Trail
• 12- 16 years: Yalla! Bowling, Soccer Circus Duabi, iFLY Dubai, Sky Trail
• 17 years and above: Yalla! Bowling, Soccer Circus Dubai, iFLY Dubai, Sky Trail
