Ski Dubai Continues to Innovate by Offering Fun

Dubai, UAE: Ski Dubai, the Middle East’s first indoor skiing resort has launched the ‘Snow School On-Site Learning Program’, a special initiative where students will be able to experience the wonders of educational and scientific concepts outside the classroom, in the real-life sub-zero climate of Ski Dubai. The program is reflective of Ski Dubai’s on-going commitment to providing fun and unique learning experiences for students across the community.

The ‘Snow School On-Site Learning Program’ will offer three customized programs to demonstrate the theory of snow and winter concepts through practical demonstrations and on-site learning. Offered in partnership with IngeniousEd, who are specialists in the field of educational outreach, the programs have been designed to compliment existing school curriculum and deepen student understanding of particular topics.

The programs are structured for students from Kindergarten to High School and are as follows:

The Wonders of Snow - Designed for Kindergarten students, the program has students discovering the properties and characteristics of snow through exploration, investigation and play.
Timing:  9:00-12:00
Price:  Aed 125/-.

Snow Structures - For students aged between 7 and 11, the program will focus on discovering "matter and materials" through snow, snow structures and making connections to natural resources in the environment.
Timing: 9:00-13:00
Price: Aed 125/-

Crystal Science - For students aged between 12 and 18, the program will teach the semantics of crystal growth and how biomimicry uses snowflakes as a model for many important applications in our world.
Timing: 9:00-13:00
