Dubai, UAE, 23rd December, 2010: Juicy Couture, the international leading contemporary brand of casual lifestyle clothing, recently opened their first boutique in the capital city of Lebanon, at the popular shopping destination, Downtown Beirut.
 
The grand opening of the boutique in Beirut was the culmination of the brand’s hugely successful expansion plan in the region for 2010. The year saw the opening of a number of new boutiques in the region including a debut store in Abu Dhabi; two new stores in Dubai - at Mall of the Emirates and Mirdif City Centre, a second store in Bahrain at Bahrain City Centre and in Saks Fifth Avenue, Riyadh.
 
“It has been an extremely triumphant year for Juicy Couture in the region. It began with the celebration of the brand’s successful entry into Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in 2009, and then further expansion with additional boutiques, larger collections and new markets. In 2010, not only did we spread the brand to key locations in Dubai, but also debuted in markets like Abu Dhabi and Lebanon which hold a tremendous fashion and business potential for Juicy Couture,” says Ahmed Galal Ismail, Chief Executive Officer, Majid Al-Futtaim Ventures, the parent company of Majid Al-Futtaim Fashion, that retails Juicy Couture in the region.
 
The new boutiques in Abu Dhabi and Lebanon were the latest additions to Juicy Couture’s strategic expansion in the region. Designed in the latest store concept for Juicy Couture, boutiques feature the entire range of products from kids fashion to women, from handbags to accessories and most notably the velour tracksuits which have been Juicy Couture’s all-time favourite signature.
 
The debut boutique in Down Town Beirut also showcases the largest track suit wall in the Middle East, featuring the signature collection of tracksuits in different colors.  The store also features a full range from Juicy Couture Kids. A big hit with the Hollywood celebrities and their children, the label’s kids’ range has redefined couture for children with the trendiest garments and accessories for kids aged from 1-14 years.

Juicy Couture first arrived to Middle East in 2008 with its first store in Dubai, opened in Emirates Towers. In less than two years the brand’s presence has expanded to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, now Lebanon and also four more stores in the UAE.
