Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 16 September 2026: Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has turned up the heat at City Centre Mirdif with the full rollout of Chef’s Society. 10 new concepts round out the diverse culinary lineup featuring dim sum pioneers, street food trailblazers and two MICHELIN Bib Gourmand kitchens – Bait Maryam by Chef Salam Daqqaq and REIF Japanese Kushiyaki by Chef Reif Othman.

Chef’s Society has been designed as a culinary collective putting chefs, their stories and dishes centre stage. Joining the ranks are three brand-new concepts including; Anara by MasterChef India Judge Chef Kunal Kapur, known for its crafted Indian cuisine; Ying Ji Dim Sum featuring handcrafted dim sum and pulled noodles by Chef Lin Deshan; and Slab which fuses global street food with a focus on seasonal ingredients represented by Chef Omar Rodrigues.

No passport required, guests can savour, Emirati, Indian, Cantonese, Levantine, Japanese, Italian and more fusion flavours. Each of the outlets within Chef’s Society has its own unique identity and aesthetic, from Bait Maryam’s soulful Levantine-inspired space to the open-kitchen format at REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, Chef Gabriele Bonci’s traditional Roman pizza counters at Bonci and ATHAR By the Qlab’s all-day Emirati dining and speciality coffee experience brought by Chef Nabhan Abdulrahman. Complementing these restaurants, The Matcha Tokyo, My Cookie Dough and Beurre offer deliciously crafted beverages, sweet treats and artisanal patisserie.

Chef’s Society is now fully operational and open. The vibrant destination reflects the growing demand for experience-led dining, with City Centre Mirdif expanding beyond shopping to become a destination for families, friends and food lovers.
